In September, the Sunshine Coast Animal Refuge (SCARS) hosted their inaugural community fundraiser, the Dog Plop Lottery. This fun event not only brings plenty of laughs but also raises vital funds to support animal welfare on the Sunshine Coast, helping provide care, shelter, and adoption opportunities for cats and dogs in need.

This year, The Thompson Charity Foundation was the lucky winner of the SCARS Dog Plop Lottery. In line with our commitment to giving back, we proudly chose to donate the winnings back to Sunshine Coast Animal Refuge. By doing so, we ensured every dollar raised stayed within the refuge to continue their lifesaving mission.

Supporting Animal Welfare on the Sunshine Coast

The Sunshine Coast Animal Refuge plays a vital role in the local community, offering rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming services for animals who deserve a second chance.
